Went here on a date night, the theme was cruising around town, so I wanted to do things local that we haven't tried but have been wanting to. This was the spot for dinner, we drive by often (and even hit the geocache in the parking lot) but hadn't gotten around to it so I made a point to have this be our dinner spot. Food was fantastic and super filling. Delicious. We got an order of fried pickles and peppers and an order of the egg rolls (big Mac flavored) wow were they both delicious (and they each came with a dipping sauce, we're condiment fiends). For dinner my husband got the pulled pork Mac, so cheesy and comforting, and I ordered the braised short rib with the polenta cake (textures we're incredible and flavored we're out of this world). We ordered a couple of drinks and overall the experience couldn't have gone better, definitely going to be back.
Our first time here. We sat at the bar and ordered a beer and appetizer and two entrees. I thought the food and the portions were fantastic and the prices also were very very good. This is a Hidden Gem that I recommend all should try.
We come to Farrell’s every Friday and we love it! Jenn always makes the best drinks and the food is fresh and always good. Their new happy hour specials are also great. There are always fun drink specials that have us always coming back to try new things. We will continue to come and love the welcoming environment and that the staff knows us by name. I recommend the French onion soup, any of their burgers, the shrimp tacos, and the Philly eggrolls. I could eat the shrimp tacos every week they are so good and fresh. It is the best places in town with the welcoming environment it has. I love that the owners are always around too!
The food was amazing. I was looking for a nice clean pub feel where everyone knows each but we could be incognito. I had the Cheeseburger in Paradise Salad. It was really really good. Both my brother and husband had sirloin beef tips. They were mouth watering. The portions were so generous, that we all brought leftovers home for lunch the next day.
This was years ago but should I post it since it was funny. My brother and I drove from Mass to Conn to meet our father and uncle just to go to Farrell's for the prime rib. We get there and they are not open yet so we wait. A few minutes later a car pulls in and the driver gets out and looks at us a few times before walking over. We told him we were waiting for him to open so we could get the prime rib. He says "you came all the way from Mass?". We told him that our fathers side of the family is here so we visit and eat here. He asked what we wanted and asked us to come back in about an hour. We came back and he has a table setup for us with our food waiting. Food was delicious as always. As we were leaving he meets us and says he hopes to see us again. We start laughing and tell him we will be back about 7PM tonight! He thought we were joking but we said we were serious. He again asked what we were going to have and when we came back he again had a table set for us with our food waiting. My brother gets up to Conn more than iI do but he has told me he has never been disappointed in the prime rib. He further said for the price it beats a few of the big name places in Vegas that charge 3-5 times the price and are just barely better if at all.
Fairly priced for perfect sized portions and really good food. You get more and wayyyy better for cheaper than you would at any chain restaurant. Highly recommend taking a look at their special menus. Staff were on point and friendly, place is kept very clean!
There was no disappointment in choosing Farrell’s to cater my wedding that was on 10/10... Despite having another large wedding to cater that day, he was able to accommodate my party of 70. I originally was going to go the hors d’oeuvre Avenue, and thought in order to get a true essence of the delicious Ness of the Italian dishes, as I read so many wonderful reviews... I made the choice to really feed my friends and family very well! I decided to go with their meat lasagna, meatballs, Alfredo Penne as well as there are lemon chicken and roasted potatoes. Their garden salad was also very delicious as well as their cheese platter. Everything was absolutely delicious, I had more people complementing me on how everything was so tasty. My new husband and I literally brought the leftovers onto our RV excursion to the mountains of Pennsylvania. We enjoyed immensely the leftovers nothing went to waste. The night of the wedding I was knocking on neighbors doors, to share the leftovers because I did not want anything to go to waste.
